Gimpo defeated FC Seoul to advance to FA Cup round of 16 for the first time in history… Beat E-Land Suwon FC to advance to round of 16

Gimpo FC defeated FC Seoul to advance to the FA Cup round of 16.

In the 2023 Hana 1Q FA Cup 3rd round home match held on the 12th at Salter Stadium in Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do, Gimpo failed to score 1-1 against FC Seoul until overtime, and won 4-2 in a penalty shootout to advance to the round of 16.

It is the first time that Gimpo, which entered the K-League 2 last season from K3 after its establishment in 2013, reached the round of 16 of the FA Cup.

Gimpo will compete with the winner of the Gangwon FC (K1)-Chungbuk Cheongju (K2) game, which was postponed to the 2nd of next month due to the Gangneung forest fire, to advance to the quarterfinals.

Gimpo conceded a goal to Kang Sung-jin in the 11th minute of the second half, but Jang Yun-ho’s goal balanced the game in the 24th minute of the second half. The match continued until overtime, but the winner was eventually decided in a penalty shootout.

Gimpo advanced to the round of 16 with a win, with all four players shaking the net, including Yoon Min-ho, the last player who decided the game.  카지노사이트
