How Rashford can be Mbappe-Holland-esque…Rooney’s true colors

Wayne Rooney believes Marcus Rashford will step up to a higher level if he helps Manchester United win a title.

Rashford recently re-signed with United. He signed a five-year deal worth £300,000 a week. The former United youth product will play for the club until the age of 30 if he fulfills the full term of his contract. After the end of last season, the Red Devils were ready to re-sign Rashford immediately, and he was keen to stay with the club he grew up with, so it was a win-win situation.

Rashford was the centerpiece of United’s defense last season. After struggling for a while, Rashford was even linked with a move away at one point, but was persuaded by manager Eric ten Haag to stay. This choice has made Rashford one of the top players in the English Premier League (EPL) again. Rashford was the mainstay of United’s offense last season, scoring 17 goals and adding five assists in the league alone.

Rashford has room to improve. As good as Rashford is, he’s still only 25 years old, so there’s plenty of room for improvement. Rooney insists that Rashford needs to win more trophies for United to reach the level of Kylian Mbappe and Elling Holland, two of the best strikers in the world right now.

According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Rooney said: “I think Rashford is an incredible talent, I’m glad he’s signed a new contract, 먹튀검증 the next five years will be important in his career. He can score a lot of goals, but if he really wants to get to the level of Mbappe and Holland, he has to have the ability to turn United back into a title-winning team. I want him to do that,” he said, adding that Rashford needs to win more trophies at United to reach the next level.

United will be hoping for better results next season. The idea is to build a stronger team under Van Gaal to finish the league in a higher position than last season and challenge for other trophies. To that end, the Red Devils are looking to bolster their squad in the summer transfer window, bringing in Mason Mount and Andre Onana.
