‘Kim Min-woo’s highest salary – Ha Joo-seok 50% reduction’ Hanwha 2023 season salary contract completed

The Hanwha Eagles completed an annual salary contract for the 2023 season on the 26th.

Among the 49 contract renewal candidates, the highest salary went to pitcher Kim Min-woo. It was stamped at 228 million won, up 37 million won (19.4%) from last year (191 million won). Infielder Jeong Eun-won also signed a contract for 218 million won, an increase of 27.2 million won (14.3%) from last year (190.8 million won), and received an annual salary of 200 million won. It is the 2nd highest salary on the team.

The player with the biggest increase was pitcher Kim Bum-soo, who signed a contract for 141 million won, up 44.2 million won (45.7%) from last year (96.8 million won), joining the ranks of billionaires. 토토사이트 Infielder Kim In-hwan, who performed impressively last year, signed a contract for 64 million won, a 100% increase, recording the highest increase rate in the team. Pitcher Min-jae Jang also signed a contract for 115 million won, up 39 million won (51.3%) from last year (76 million won).

However, infielder Ha Joo-seok, who was suspended for 70 games by the KBO for drunken driving in November of last year, signed a contract for 100 million won, a 50.2% (100.9 million won) reduction from last year’s 209 million won.

In order to motivate players in the 2023 season, Hanwha prepared criteria for selecting options for players with annual salary increases of 100 million won or more compared to the previous year and introduced them into salary negotiations. Elaborate customized conditions were presented to each player in consideration of the players’ capabilities and expectations, and incentives in addition to the contract salary were paid if the option was achieved. Through this, it is expected that it will be a win-win contract as many players fill out the option, as their contribution to the team increases.

Following the completion of the annual salary contract, all members of the Hanwha squad will participate in the Spring Camp in Kochi, Japan for the Futures (2nd Division), Arizona, Japan, and Okinawa, Japan.
